Were you a
a flaming
white
fulgent bubble
tonight
I would
shimmy you up
with all my might,
And shatter you
into a million
tiny orbs so bright,
So I could swim
like a mermaid
in your frothing
sea of light.
And each time
I open
my seeking eyes,
I would see your
alluring
mischievous smile,
Teasing me
in every perfect globule
in sight.
I’d laugh
and blow
your bubbles alight,
Let them slither
over me
in delicious delight,
Let the
Water
Ignite,
And blow up
Around me
Like dynamite.
